Large HVAC equipment receives most of the attention during early project design, but the system only performs correctly when the supporting components are selected correctly as well. The fan must overcome real duct resistance. The filter must achieve required air quality without excess pressure demand. The damper must provide intended airflow control. Tunnel jet fans require another level of project calculation.
