01 / Engineering Application

HVAC Components Applied to
Real Project Conditions.

HVAC projects are rarely defined by one product. A commercial building may require ventilation, VAV control, filtration, heat exchange and hydronic equipment at the same time. A petrochemical facility may combine explosion-proof ventilation with gas-phase corrosion control.

YONGFAN supports projects by connecting equipment selection with actual operating requirements—helping contractors, system integrators and engineering teams move from project data to a practical, balanced equipment configuration.

03 / Projects We Support

Commercial, Industrial &
Infrastructure Applications.

Operating requirements change dramatically across different facility types. We configure equipment architectures around the actual operational reality of each sector.

Commercial High-Rise & Office

Coordinating Comfort, Air Distribution & Hydronics

Commercial HVAC projects involve dozens of small components working in unison. In office high-rises and hotels, the goal is maintaining distinct airflow zones across conference suites, open-plan spaces, and perimeter zones with minimum acoustic impact and precise hydronic balance.

Typical Scope of Supply
Ventilation Fans VAV Terminals Distribution Plenums Fire/Smoke Dampers Plate Heat Exchangers Smart Thermostats Dynamic PICV Valves
Commercial High-Rise Modern commercial office towers
Healthcare & Clinical

Air Quality, Clinical Pressurization & Water Reliability

Healthcare demands vary between patient wards, mechanical rooms, and critical clinical suites. Equipment must maintain strict negative/positive pressure cascades, terminal pathogen capture, ultra-low operating noise, and uninterrupted domestic hot water.

Typical Scope of Supply
H14 Ceiling Plenums Negative-Pressure Boxes Storage Heat Exchangers Silent Purification Cabinets Constant Volume Valves Sanitary Hydronic Skids
Hospitals & Isolation Wards Hospital medical facility interior
Mission Critical

Protecting Electronics From Heat & Molecular Corrosion

Cooling is only half the battle in data centers and refinery control rooms. Ambient air often carries acidic gases (H2S, SO2, Cl2) that corrode circuit boards. We distinguish between particulate filtration and chemical molecular adsorption to achieve ISA 71.04 Class G1 compliance.

Typical Scope of Supply
Gas-Phase Scrubber Units Deep-Bed Chemical Modules Positive-Pressure Fans Low-ΔP Pocket Filters Plate Heat Exchanger Skids Modbus Control Valves
Server Rooms & DCS Centers Data center server racks and cooling infrastructure
Cleanrooms & Fabs

Filtration Managed as an Integrated Air Path

Controlled cleanroom environments rely on sequential resistance management. Upstream stages protect expensive HEPA/ULPA media, extending service life while keeping total fan energy consumption within design thresholds.

01. Pre-FilterG4 Coarse Media
02. MediumF8–F9 Pocket Filter
03. HEPA/ULPAH14–U17 Media
04. TerminalEC Fan Filter Unit
Semiconductor & Pharma Fabs Cleanroom microelectronics fabrication
Petrochemical & Refining

Equipment Configured for Severe Atmosphere & ATEX Safety

Industrial processes create hazardous, flammable, and corrosive atmospheres. We provide spark-resistant explosion-proof fans for Zone 1/Zone 2 alongside chemical exhaust scrubbers and 316L stainless isolation dampers.

Typical Scope of Supply
ATEX Explosion-Proof Fans Ex-Proof Cabinet Blowers WGP Exhaust Scrubbers PSA Recirculation Units Heavy Industrial Heat Exchangers
Hazardous Zone Facilities Oil refinery process pipelines and industrial structures
Tunnels & Transportation

Selection Based on Dynamic Thrust & Smoke Strategy

Tunnel ventilation requires rigorous calculation of vehicle emissions, CO/NOx dilution, and emergency smoke movement. SDS and SDS(R) reversible jet fans are sized according to tunnel cross-section, velocity profiles, and verified thrust rather than basic duct airflow.

Typical Scope of Supply
SDS Jet Fans SDS(R) 100% Reversible Fans 400°C/2h High-Temp Exhaust Heavy-Duty Attenuators Motorized Pressure Dampers
Metro & Road Tunnels Tunnel ventilation and infrastructure system

05 / Project Execution

How We Work With a Project.
From Initial Data to Delivery.

We maintain engineering continuity from the first duty calculation to final on-site commissioning.

STEP 01

Data Intake

We receive equipment schedules, drawings, duty points, BOQs, or legacy product models. Complete designs are welcome but not mandatory to begin.

STEP 02

Family Identification

We map requirements to appropriate product categories, avoiding the premature constraint of forcing a preselected catalogue model.

STEP 03

Duty Point Review

Critical variables are validated: Airflow + ΔP for fans, Load + ΔT for exchangers, and Contaminant + Volume for gas filtration.

STEP 04

Configuration Design

Detailed specification of casing materials, motors, filtration media grades, pressure ratings, flange standards, and control interfaces.

STEP 05

Technical Submittal

Comprehensive engineering submittal packages including performance curves, BIM/DWG drawings, and compliance data sheets for consultant approval.

STEP 06

Manufacturing & QA

Production with verified hold points: dynamic fan balancing, hydrostatic exchanger testing, filter leak scanning, and material batch tracking.

STEP 07

Packaging & Logistics

Export-grade crating, anti-corrosion barrier wrapping, and international freight coordination across EXW, FOB, CIF, or DDP terms.

STEP 08

Installation & O&M

Ongoing support with installation manuals, remote commissioning guidance, spare parts provision, and maintenance lifecycle advisory.

System-Level Engineering

Project Selection Is About Interfaces

Many HVAC deficiencies occur at the interface between components. Correctly selecting individual catalogue parts is useless if their operational interaction is neglected.

Filter + Fan Resistance Filters add continuous static drop. Fans must be sized for final loaded filter condition, not just initial clean media resistance.
VAV + Fan Modulation VAV terminal throttling dynamically shifts system static pressure. Central fans require matched VFD logic to prevent surge or hunting.
Heat Exchanger + Pump Exchanger internal plate passes introduce localized pressure drop that must be compensated in pump head sizing.
Water Chemistry + Exchanger Fluid chloride content and pH dictate whether 304, 316L, or Titanium plates are necessary to prevent stress corrosion cracking.

New Construction Projects Greenfield

Maximum freedom to optimize physical footprint, duct aspect ratios, centralized plant layouts, and advanced building management system protocols.

Retrofit & Replacement Projects Brownfield

Constrained by fixed duct risers, narrow plant-room access doors, short shutdown windows, and legacy control signals. We supply equipment with custom flange drills and modular split casings to match existing physical and electrical interfaces.
