Systems & Solutions: Engineered HVAC Component Interfaces

HVAC components should not be selected as isolated catalog items. The fan, filter, damper, heat exchanger, valve, water-treatment device and control point all have to work inside one operating system.

YONGFAN’s Systems & Solutions pages are organized around engineering interfaces across 8 core routes: Airside Ventilation, Cleanroom Filtration, Fire & Smoke Exhaust, Industrial Gas-Phase, Control Room Corrosion, Tunnel Ventilation, Hydronic Plant Rooms, and Heat Exchange & Water Treatment.

8 System Routes Airside to Hydronics

01 / System Interface Analysis

System Performance Depends On Interfaces Between Components

Catalog values only tell half the story. Real-world performance is governed by how pressure, aerodynamics, filtration stages, water chemistry, and control sequences interact.
Complex HVAC mechanical plant with coordinated ductwork, chillers, and piping
Interface-Driven Selection

Solving Component Interaction Bottlenecks Upfront

Matching duct pressure budgets, filtration sequences, emergency fire sequences, and hydronic expansion boundaries before model procurement.

Airside Resistance Bottlenecks

A fan meets its catalog airflow but starves index zones because coils, filters, silencers, and dampers add more pressure drop than estimated.

Impact: Under-ventilated occupied spaces & excessive fan speed noise

Cleanroom Filtration Bypass

A HEPA filter passes factory scans but the room misses cleanliness specs due to inadequate pre-filtration, bad casing seals, or room pressure loss.

Impact: Cleanroom qualification failure & short filter service life

Fire Damper Sequence Conflict

A normal 70 °C fire damper is mistakenly placed in a smoke exhaust path, shutting down emergency extract while the 280 °C smoke fan is running.

Impact: Catastrophic loss of emergency smoke extraction capability

Hydronic Expansion Misalignment

A booster pump skid is installed where closed-loop expansion control is needed, causing cyclic pressure loss and relief valve discharge.

Impact: Unstable hydronic pressure & chiller trip at part load

Systems & Solutions FAQ

Direct answers regarding system boundaries, turnkey claims, cleanroom ISO classes, and water treatment.

Where should I start if I only know the application?

Start with the engineering problem. Use Airside Ventilation for ducted air movement, Cleanroom for particle control, Fire Smoke for emergency duty, Gas-Phase for molecular gases, Hydronics for pressure/flow, and Heat Exchange for thermal duty.

Does YONGFAN supply a complete HVAC plant?

YONGFAN supplies coordinated equipment and component families. These pages help select compatible equipment, but do not claim turnkey central-plant EPC scope.

Can one filtration system handle both particles and corrosive gases?

Yes, by staging particulate filters (G4/F8/HEPA) with activated-carbon or chemisorption chemical media. Particles and molecular gases use different removal mechanisms.

Is a cleanroom HEPA terminal enough to define room cleanliness?

No. Terminal efficiency is only one part. Air-change rate, room pressurization, leakage, airflow distribution, and commissioning determine final ISO cleanliness.

Can a normal ventilation fan be used for smoke exhaust?

Only if documented and certified for high-temperature duty (such as 280 °C / 30 min). Smoke exhaust must be selected as a life-safety fire requirement.

Can PSA/PSA-PG be used instead of WGP?

No. PSA/PSA-PG treat incoming fresh air to protect indoor electronics. WGP is engineered for outgoing contaminated industrial exhaust streams.

What is the first number to compare for a tunnel jet fan?

Static thrust (N), followed by installed effective thrust which accounts for tunnel air velocity, spacing, and wall friction losses.

What is the difference between JFHB and JFWZ?

JFHB is a VFD constant-pressure booster for break tanks. JFWZ connects directly to municipal mains using non-negative-pressure technology.

Does water treatment replace heat-exchanger cleaning?

Water treatment dramatically reduces scaling and fouling, but exchangers still require scheduled inspection based on water quality.

07 / Application Boundaries

Systems & Solutions Engineering Boundaries

Clear boundaries governing system design, life safety, environmental targets, and site commissioning.
Boundary 01 / EPC Scope

Component Supplier

YONGFAN supplies equipment and component packages; building structural design, fire engineering, and EPC installation remain project responsibilities.

Boundary 02 / Cleanroom ISO

Room Qualification

Cleanroom terminals do not independently guarantee ISO 14644 room class without complete architectural envelope and commissioning verification.

Boundary 03 / ISA G1 Target

Facility Pressurization

Chemical filtration units are designed for ISA S71.04 Class G1 targets, but room sealing and positive pressurization are essential to prevent infiltration.

Boundary 04 / Municipal Approvals

JFWZ Mains Connection

Direct-mains boosting with JFWZ non-negative-pressure units is subject to local municipal water authority approval.
