Ventilation Fans: In-Line, Roof, Centrifugal & Jet Fans
Similar airflow duties can use very different physical arrangements:
- In-Line Axial & Mixed Flow (DTF, DTXF, SWF): Check casing outer diameter, flange pitch circle diameter (PCD), bolt hole count, overall length, and motor terminal box orientation.
- Centrifugal & Cabinet Fans (4-72, SJG): Discharge rotation (0°–270°) and motor drive side determine whether the fan connects directly to the riser duct without extra elbows.
- Roof Fans (DWT Series): Drawing must coordinate roof structural opening, curb base dimensions, weather cowl overhang, and electrical entry.
- Direct Replacement (T35-11 / BT35-11): Source documents confirm matching flange and casing dimensions for specified variants to ensure drop-in replacement.
